WELCOME TO THE TILE PAINTING WORKSHOP
In this workshop you will learn the traditional painting techniques used by the Portuguese artists.
Under the guidance of our expert artist, you will be painting over an already glazed tile while listening amusing history of the tiles in Portugal and their origin.
During the workshop you will create a tile with the traditional themes like animals and patterns but also you will have an option of doing your own design. Using prepared drawings you will transfer it to the tiles to paint them the way you prefer.
At the end of the workshop you get to take your own hand painted Portuguese tile that can be an amazing souvenir or a meaningful decoration to your home.
Technique: Waterproof acrylics, Azulejo

In average there are 4-5 participants. The small group size allows us to pay attention to each participant.
Definitely yes. The Tile Painting workshop is designed for any level, no need to have any drawing skills. Everyone will be able to get the work worthy of pride.
You should inform us at least 2 days before the event. In this case you can attend the workshop with the next group. Please note that we do not make a refund unless the session is cancelled from our side.
