Barbara Veiga
Barbara Veiga is a Brazilian multidisciplinary artist, speaker, and curator whose work bridges creativity and environmental action. With over 25 years dedicated to raising awareness for the planet—especially our oceans—she brings a unique perspective to the intersection of art and activism.
Her global journey has taken her alongside leading environmental organizations such as Greenpeace, Sea Shepherd, and Amazon Watch, where she has turned advocacy into art and action. Barbara is also the author of Seven Years in Seven Seas and co-founder of the Women’s League for the Ocean, a movement amplifying the voices of women in environmental protection.
Through exhibitions, performances, and public talks, Barbara brings storytelling and sustainability together—using art as a tool to inspire connection, reflection, and change.
