In this fun and creative workshop, kids become young nature explorers and artists! Through drawing, painting, and observing plants and animals, they’ll learn how to look closely at the world around them and turn their discoveries into beautiful illustrations.
Using techniques like colored pencils, watercolor, and fine pens, children will develop both artistic and scientific curiosity. This workshop helps improve focus, observation, and creativity while encouraging a love for nature and science. By the end, every child will take home their own illustrated artwork and a new way of seeing the beauty in life!

Renato is a biologist and illustrator with a Master’s in Scientific Illustration from the University of Aveiro. His work blends a naturalistic and scientific approach, adapting seamlessly to both creative, playful projects and those requiring academic precision and rigor.

Since the workshop is more focused on the "observation" part, participants are free to use whatever techniques they feel comfortable in. e.g. pencils, watercolor, fine line pens etc.

You should inform us at least 2 days before the event. In this case you can attend the workshop with the next group. Please note that we do not make a refund unless the session is cancelled from our side.
