During this Drawing Nature course we will put in practice all the fundamentals of drawing we have learned in the basic course and we will also be focusing on particular subjects such as landscape and botanic themes.
By the end of the course you will have learned how to create independent drawings on your own!

★ We will learn how to draw flowers, leaves and plants focusing on line expression and quality. How to use this to our advantage to convey weight and lightness and softness
★ We will explore a botanical subject paying attention to proportion and shape
★ We will learn how to draw fruits and other objects to make a beautiful composition

☆ Landscape in pen and ink ☆
★ We will explore a page composition using thumbnail techniques and creating sketching stile drawings
★ We will learn and practice techniques we can use with pen to convey textures in our landscape, how to draw and shade trees and other landscape elements
★ We will learn how to use contrasting values to give the illustration the depth and expression
★ You will choose your subject to create a final project where you will put in place the techniques you have learned during this course
Meet your tutor
Althought she is formally trained in sculpture by the university of Lisbon and has concluded a MA degree by the university of Brighton, she has developed a special love for drawing and illustration.

Yes. We have Online Participation in a live art class Option. If you are not in Lisbon but anyway want to join our regular classes in presence this option can be perfect for you. After the booking you will receive all instructions how to join the event via Google Meet. Also see information about our online art classes
In this case you can attend the missed classes with the next edition (maximum 2 classes) or you can join this class online.
This drawing course is suitable for children from 11 yeas old and adults. We have a special course for children from 6 to 10 y.o
Yes, you can join the running course any moment.
If you choose to participate in a live format, you do not need to prepare materials for the art class. If your format is remote, you will need materials. You will receive a detailed video and list of materials. You can buy them in our online store
Our art classes are suitable for all skill levels. However, we advise to attend the Basic Drawing course first.
