In Greek mythology, Athena is best-known as the goddess of war, but she has also been dubbed goddess of handicraft. Along with weaving, Athena perfected the art of embroidery. Unsurprisingly, the hobby became known as a craft for the wealthy.

Thais Miguele
Thais is a designer in love with the embroidery art. She started embroidering in 2016 and ended up to be addicted to it.
Since her childhood Thais always liked to draw but never knew how to elevate her little sketches into something artistic or meaningful… until she started turning it into embroidery. That’s how Thais found her “art”. It surprised her that everything we see or even imagine, can be reproduced (with more magic) through needle and thread. Also, embroider is art and therapy all together.
From 2017 to 2019 Thais started giving her “casual” embroidery classes and found a whole embroidery community through it.
Since her childhood Thais always liked to draw but never knew how to elevate her little sketches into something artistic or meaningful… until she started turning it into embroidery. That’s how Thais found her “art”. It surprised her that everything we see or even imagine, can be reproduced (with more magic) through needle and thread. Also, embroider is art and therapy all together.
