We are going to spend a whole day enjoying Portuguese summer and taking sketches in the beautiful area surrounded by sea and authentic Cascais village with a group of like-minded people in a fun and relaxed environment.
During the art retreat you will create several illustrations under the guidance of our expert artist using pencils and watercolor.
The program is designed for beginners as well as for more advanced participants. The tutor will guide you step by step so that you could get a new hobby or improve your artistic skills.
At the end of our art journey you can stay for a lovely sunset by sea, go for a dinner at one of the regional restaurants or visit other places in beautiful Cascais.

Program of the day
Seaside Sketch
We meet at 11:20 at the Cascais train station and go to a freshy spot by the sea Praia da Rainha to create our first ocean sketches
Lunch Break
Around 13:30 we will have a lunch break in a restaurant close by with an inspiring atmosphere and delicious food. If you wish you can also make quick food sketches during the lunch time
Farol Sketch
After lunch we will go to the nice place near the Farol of charming Cascais village to create illustrations that you can keep as a memory of your journey

João is an artist with a passion for watercolor painting and figure drawing. He studied Graphic Design in Brazil and honed his skills over the years, taking classes and workshops to improve his painting technique.
Beyond art, Joao has a deep love for plants and nature, finding inspiration in the natural world around him and incorporating organic elements into his artworks.
