The freedom and elegance in watercolor that you will learn from Darya, along with the concepts of tone and color, the basics of composition and much more, will take you to a
new level of painting.
You will spend 5 wonderful days in the beauty of Algarve breathing the air of Atlantic Ocean.
During the workshops you will learn how to play with various watercolor techniques, painting from life, creating strong compositions, depicting different effects, create your own unique art collection...and much more.
Beyond the studio walls , during plein-art sessions we will capture the beauty with our brushes, learning new skills, watch the sun on the gorgeous beaches and go on a breathtaking adventure.

Meet the Artist
Darya Mitta
Darya Mitta is a professional watercolor artist. Originally educated in Design she made a pivotal turn toward watercolor a decade ago and concentrated her efforts on mastering this art.
Expressive work with vivid light and shadow has become a calling card of Darya Mitta’s work. Whether it is a downtown cityscape connected in shadows or a pastoral depiction of a sunset in the countryside that drenches the scene in color, Darya is always striving to deepen the expressive nature of her painting capturing the subject's luminosity.
And as we know, you can’t have light without shadow, and Darya teaches her students to give them equal priority in their paintings and how to use light and shadow to design stronger compositions and bring drama to a variety of subject matters.
