WHAT IS ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONISM
Abstract expressionism is a school (movement) of artists who paint quickly and on large canvases, using non-geometric strokes, large brushes, sometimes dripping paint onto the canvas, to fully reveal emotions. The expressive method of painting here is often as important as the painting itself. The goal of the artist with such a creative method is the spontaneous expression of the inner world in chaotic forms, not organized by logical thinking.
Abstract Expressionism began after World War II and during the 1950s became the dominant art movement both in the United States and abroad. Many Abstract Expressionists were influenced by the music of their time. Jazz was improvisational and expressive, and some artists quoted listening to music while painting.

Yes. The Abstract Expressionism Workshop is designed for beginners. Anyone can do it, even without any level of art skills
You should inform us at least 2 days before the event. In this case you can attend the workshop with the next group. Please note that we do not make a refund unless the session is cancelled from our side.
If you choose to participate in a live format, you do not need to prepare materials for the art workshop. If your format is remote, you will need materials. You will receive a detailed video and list of materials. You can buy them in our online store
